Lucy is the foundation of our kennel. We're very pleased with her conformation and her temperament. She is very gentle, intelligent, agile and well mannered. She has strong herding instincts and is incredibly quick to predict what you want from her. She throws beautiful pups that are just are smart, happy, and eager to please as she is.
Lucy's hips have been x-rayed and found to be well within the acceptable range for a corgi.

Grace was raised here at Storybook. She's out of Lucy and has a lot of her wonderful qualities. She's been to a few shows, coming away with Best of Opposite and Winners Bitch. She's a proven mother, and passes along her best traits well.
Grace's hips have been x-rayed and are within the acceptable range for corgis.

Rhythm was added to the kennel with the express purpose of being our next show prospect. Unfortunatly she broke an ear before we got her into a ring, ending her career before it even started. In addition to her correct conformation, she has the sweetest disposition.
Rhythm's hips have been x-rayed and found to be well within range of acceptable for corgis.

Minnie is another daughter of Lucy. She's a beautifully colored red headed tri, like her mom. Minnie has a wonderfully friendly personality and is quite a clown. She may not be the best dog we have, but she throws some of the nicest puppies. Her winning personality is always passed on as well.
Ralph is our newest addition, and I'd like to thank Buckeye Corgis for allowing us the opportunity to have him. Ralph was bred by CR Farms in Mississippi and Fortins in Missouri. He's vWd cleared by parentage. You can view Ralph's pedigree here.
Ralph is available for stud service. His fee is $500, payable when puppies are born.
The Pembroke Welsh Corgi is an excellent companion dog. It's sturdy build can take on lots of child's play, and it's gentle nature makes them wonderful pets for families with small children. Corgis are adaptable dogs that do as well with apartment living as they do on a farm. They are loyal and loving; affectionate, but do not force their affections upon you; sometimes independent and always amusing. They need guidance and loving discipline to develop their pleasant personality. The Corgi’s alertness and protective instincts also make him an excellent guardian of the home. They are intelligent dogs, anticipating your desires and eager to please. They are easy to train and quick to housebreak.
The corgi is a herding dog, originally bred to help with cattle. Their herding instinct is very strong and they will chase anything to moves. For this reason, the corgi needs to have a fenced yard or be leashed when it's outside. Close supervision is a must.
