All of our puppies get a healthy start by ensuring that their mothers are well cared for, even before pregnancy. When our puppies are placed in new homes we guarantee that they have been dewormed regularly and immunized according to their age. They get their first vaccine at 7 weeks of age, and a follow-up booster 2-3 weeks after that if they are still in our care. A third booster will be due by the age of 3 months (12 weeks), as well as a rabies vaccine.
I recommend having your puppy examined by a veterinarian within a few days of bringing it home. Your vet will need the health report that I provide to help him know what your puppy has had and what it needs. Your vet will usually require a stool sample to be provided at this appointment.
In the unlikely event that your veterinarian finds the puppy to be ill or defective, you are entitled to your choice of returning the puppy for a full refund of the purchase price, or a replacement puppy from the same litter, if one is available. The Buyer MUST inform me of the nature of the condition within 48 hours of the veterinarian visit. The puppy must be returned to me before I can provide a refund or replacement puppy. The puppy will be delivered at the buyer's expense. The buyer is responsible for the care and feeding of the puppy while it is in their possession.
