Welcome to Storybook Kennel. We are a small facility located in Rockwood, Pennsylvania, just an hour east of Pittsburgh. I have been selectively breeding dogs for 10 years, beginning with a beloved Labrador Retriever. We've dabbled in a few other breeds over the years but have fallen in love with the Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Our kennel is based around this wonderful, fun loving breed.
Our kids wanted their own breed of dog, and as parents wanting to encourage the entrepreneur spirit, we allowed them to choose a dog of their own. The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel was added to our kennel. While we're new to this breed, we've been taken in by their sweet gentleness, undying love, and gracefulness.
The goal of my breeding program is to produce a happy, healthy puppy with correct type and sound temperament to be your lifelong companion.
All our dogs are AKC registered. Puppies are handled daily from birth and are well socialized with children and other dogs. They will be pre-spoiled for you. I deworm puppies every other week, and give their first vaccine at 7 weeks of age.
In placing our puppies, our goal is to find the very best home for them that we can. We look for responsible, knowledgeable buyers that are ready, willing and able to accept the responsibilites of caring for a dog for a lifetime. We want each puppy to have a long, happy and healthy life with a loving family. We love to stay in touch with our puppies as they grow, and are happy to provide any advice or support that we can for the life of your new companion.
If you are interested in an available puppy, a non-refundable $100 deposit will hold it until it's ready to go to it's new home. If you want to be placed on a waiting list for an upcoming breeding, please contact me to let me know exactly what you're looking for and I'll keep you informed when we get the right puppy for your needs.
