Storybook Kennel

 At Storybook, our goal is to produce a happy, healthy puppy with correct type and sound temperament to be your lifelong companion.

We are a small kennel located in Somerset County, Pennsylvania.  We have 4 children who love the dogs as much as we do.  Our baby has Down syndrome, and we're so blessed to have him as part of our family.

I've been raising dogs for 10 years, starting with a Labrador Retriever.  Maggie was a wonderful dog that we loved dearly, but we quickly decided that smaller dogs were a better fit for us.  We had a Jack Russell and a Scottish Terrier before discovering the wonderful breed of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi.

The corgi has captured my heart with it's gentleness, loyalty, intelligence and comical ways.

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniels were introduced through our kids, and we've added them to our small breeding program.  They are wonderfully playful and graceful dogs, who love nothing more than to crawl into your lap when you sit down.
